Francuskie bułeczki z jabłkami/French rolls with apples

Scroll down for English

ciasto francuskie
jabłka
cynamon
cukier

For the first time, I've seen these very simple rolls (they are simple if you use ready-made French pastry) during my Erasmus term. They were made for the international cooking party by the Dutch girls. They were so tasty, that before the end of the term we made them few times more. They are great if you need sth sweet fast prepared, they are also good for small lunch (in Poland we eat second breakfast a bit earlier than English lunch, but our main meal is about 1-3 p.m.) or for a trip.

Ingredients:
French pastry
apples
cinnamon
sugar

Method:
Cut apples into quarters or eighths, throw out the cores, put apples into a bowl and add sugar and cinnamon (as much as you like, I don't like very sweet), leave for a moment to catch the taste. Cut pastry into squares (not too small, to make it easier to fold up - I make about 6 squares from one portion), on every half of the squares put apples (it will be about 3-4 pieces), fold them up in halves, stick together. Put into the oven preheat to 200 C degrees for about 20 minutes - but if the instruction on the packet is different, do as it is said in the instruction.
